Eielson AFB

On the way back from Ellie's taking Ellie to the doctor on Monday (yes she tested positive for strep throat AGAIN!) we took a short drive down the Eielson AFB and I let the kids out at the park for some fresh air.

We had to spend all day Tuesday in the house. There are forest fires about an hour or so away from Fairbanks and there is a lot of smoke outside. The air is "unhealthy" right now and it's not safe to play outside. Our windows are shut and the house is uncomfortably hot. I'm hoping that it clears up soon, so that we can get back outside to enjoy the warm weather we've been having. I just wish there was an outdoor pool in the area....
