Good Job Ellie!

Just a quick note to congratulate Ellie on completing the AWANA T&T Book 1. We have had a long break from AWANA with the holidays, flu, and cold weather causing it to be canceled. The kids were excited to be back at it again. They sure are doing a great job of memorizing verses!! I am so proud of them all.

AWANA update

I am so proud of the kids and how much they have accomplished in these first few months of AWANA.

Lexie is working her way through the Cubbies Hopper Book.

Kate has finished the entire Sparks Hanglider Book in less than 3 months!! Good job Katie!!

Ellie is one discovery away from finishing her first T&T Book.

They are all immensely enjoying this program. I am so impressed with how many Bible verses they have memorized in such a short time - and they enjoy doing it!

Crazy Hair Night

It was crazy hair night at AWANA. How fun :)

I am so proud of the girls. They all earned patches/awards tonight for their memory work. Kate recited all of the books of the New Testament in order!! Ellie is close to finishing her first T&T book. She is an amazing little memorizing machine :) Lexie finished 3 verses tonight. Good job girls!!!

AWANA

This is our first year of AWANA. Now that I think about it, I don't even know what it stands for. Let me google it.....

Ok, it stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, from 2 Timothy 2:15 (according to wikipedia). I would never have guessed that!

Anyway, the clubs started up a few weeks ago and the kids LOVE it!! I never would have guessed that they (Ellie, Kate, and Lexie) could get SO excited about memorizing Bible verses. They practice them throughout the week without me having to ask them. It's amazing :)
