Homeschool Memoirs: Reading List 2009

Here are the books that I would like to read in 2009. Some I have read before but it's been a long time. I have added some light reads, some classics, and some non-fiction. I hope to be able to read much more than what is on this list. At least I'm armed with a list when I head to the library :)

Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte
Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens
Ayala's Angel, by Anthony Trollope
The Eustace Diamonds, by Anthony Trollope
North and South, by Elizabeth Gaskell
Wives and Daughters, by Elizabeth Gaskell
The Importance of Being Earnest, by Oscar Wilde
The Inheritance, by Louisa May Alcott
Uncle Tom's Cabin, by Harriet Beecher Stowe
Our Mutual Friend, by Charles Dickens
Mere Christianity, by C.S. Lewis
Cecelia, or Memoirs of an Heiress, by Fanny Burney
Twilight, by Stephenie Meyer (and the others in the series if I enjoy the first)
The Alexandria Link, by Steve Berry
The Charlemagne Pursuit, by Steve Berry
The Amber Room, by Steve Berry
A Bride in the Bargain, by Deeanne Gist
A Surrendered Heart, by Tracie Peterson
In Defense of Food: An Eater's Manifesto, by Michael Pollan
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
, by Mary Ann Shaffer
Death and Restoration, by Iain Spears
Sarah's Key, by Tatiana de Rosnay
The Darkness and the Dawn, by Thomas Costain

Uncle Tom's Cabin is one that I started and didn't finish. Interesting enough. Just a matter of time. . .

Great list!

I haven't heard of several of your books. I'm going to have to look for that homeschool one.

Hi Jennifer :) Thanks for sharing your list! I found some titles to research in it, and that is so fun to do.

CS Lewis is a great favorite of mine. Have a lovely weekend, Q
