Presents from Iraq

The kids were so happy to get a package from Daddy yesterday.

He sent us some goodies from Iraq.

Here is a "puzzle box":

You slide the front piece to the left:

Then pull out the little piece and find the hidden key:

Slide the whole thing forward, and a small piece of wood drops out, revealing the keyhole:

And voila! Open up your secret box :)

And here are some more boxes he sent. The man he bought them from said that he gets them from various places (Iraq, Turkey, Syria), so I'm not sure exactly where they were made. They are neat though!
