I Heart Faces: No Flash!

This week's theme at I Heart Faces is "No Flash". I took this picture of my daughter Kate, last week while we were visiting Ice Alaska.

I finally have Photoshop Elements 7, but I still haven't figured out how to use it yet. The tutorial book is in the mail! I am looking forward to being able to edit my photos better.

Click the above link to view many more entries (which look much more professional than mine!) It's so much fun looking through everyone's entries. :)

Actually, Ice Alaska is an ice park in Fairbanks. It holds the World Ice Art Championships every year and it's absolutely amazing to see!! I wonder if there really is an Ice, Alaska though - I live in North Pole. They both seem very appropriate :)

lol! I'm so glad you explained cos I was pretty certain Alaska wasn't quite that far north! Lovely freckly face - she's got no business looking so sunkissed in winter :)

That is a great shot. I love her expression which seems to be part enjoyment, part "don't take my picture right now".

Wow - Great entry for No Flash week! I love the composition and perfect exposure. I wish I could do that as well as you have. Oh, and those freckles are too die for!
