Time to catch up.

Again I find myself behind.

This week I have been so busy with Christmas cards, doing the FRG newsletter, going to appointments, shopping, etc. that we have been rushing to do schoolwork. It takes all of the joy out of learning when we're rushed and just trying to "check the block". That's truly not what I want. Our next couple of weeks and weekends are pretty full - play practices, art classes, Christmas parties, a gymnastics meet, 3 shows, etc.

My New Year's Resolution is going to be to free up the calendar some so we have more time at home to relax and learn :)

We're not horribly behind or anything, but when we rush, it's the fun stuff that gets left out. They're learning, but they aren't enjoying it as much as they would if we weren't so rushed. Back to work....
