It is just too cold out today. It said negative 30 when I was coming home from gymnastics.
People are not meant to live here. Not normal people.
Maybe I'll just make one last huge shopping trip and then we'll hibernate until spring ;) Think I can hold out until late April? Maybe we could start our own reality TV show or something. Survivor: Arctic Extreme? Wow, I sound like a wimp! I know I'll make it through the winter fine, I just hate knowing that it's not coming to an end anytime in the near future.
The air outside is disgusting to breathe also. Every place you go, everyone has their vehicles running in the parking lot. You feel like you're going to choke on all of the fumes. YUCK!
I'm glad that we have been given the chance to live up here. It's an adventure :) We never would have just moved here had it not been for the Army. I am thankful for the experience, but I know that we won't be staying.....

Ditto for South Korea. I think we can all say that at least once in our career. God bless the Army for helping us appreciate where we're FROM.
Jen, I can't even imagine these temperatures. I was talking to my friend in Wisconsin this week and I told her, I'd rather live somewhere, where it's really hot, than somewhere, where it's really cold. I'm a winter baby but I don't like winter. Over all I feel blessed that the Army sent us to Virginia though. Well, stay warm and maybe you should give hibernation a second thought. ;)
I think you have such a great attitude about it, Jennifer. I am inspired by your heart as I think about our next duty station. ((hugs))
Negative 30!!! Oh my... I thought Maine was bad in the winter. In fact we moved to Florida this year to avoid the cold! :) I wish you the best of luck!
