The Family Virtues Guide: Generosity

This past week, we were learning about being more generous - with our money and our time. The girls learned that being generous means giving or sharing something freely - without any expectations of anything in return.

The girls are working on filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. They are having such a good time picking out things they think that children would love to receive. They are learning to give without expecting anything in return. National Collection Week for this charity is November 17-24 if you would like to participate. :)

Affirmation for the week: "I am generous. I look for opportunities to give and to share. There is plenty of time for thoughtfulness. I give freely, fully, and joyfully."
