Constellations

We have been studying constellations this week. It's just too cold to go outside at night and look at the sky (at least for my taste - I prefer watching a good meteor shower on a warm summer night!), so we have been looking at pictures in books instead. The girls tried their hand at writing down some of the different constellations on a worksheet that I made for them. It was interesting reading the stories behind them. I can see how people imagined some of the patterns to be certain things, but there are others that just seem like such a stretch to me. :)
