Ellie is 10 and in the 5th/6th grade this year. She loves dancing, doing art projects, traveling, and of course reading. She reads all day long, leaving a trail of books behind her :)
Kate is 7 and does 2nd and 3rd grade work this year. She likes to move!! She loves anything hands-on and doesn't want to sit for too long :)
Lexie is 5 and is in the 1st grade. She is becoming quite a good reader and is enjoying math. Lexie LOVES to talk, just ask her :)
Nick is 3. He loves trains, trucks, planes, and anything that moves. Keeping him occupied during the school day is a constant challenge :) He knows his letters and can count. He likes to work on puzzles and to play with math manipulatives. I am hoping that I can keep him busy and out of trouble while we're working this year!
Tori Rose is 1 and a half and such a joy!! She loves to play with her baby dolls, listen to music, and talk.
The kids and I went to a Fall Festival at our friend Michelle's church. They had a blast! They've already told me that we HAVE to go back there next year. Maybe it has something to do with the buckets of candy they came home with??
Kate, as an Egyptian
Ellie, as Cleopatra
Her wig started frizzing...
You sure can tell that Ellie is an Army Brat. What other kid would write "Latrine" on a sign to the bathroom?
Nick didn't dress up, but he had fun playing in the ball pit! Notice the static in his hair!
We are using a very eclectic mixture of curriculum and living books in our homeschooling journey. It is always changing, depending on each child and what works best for them. We are using a mostly classical method with a Charlotte Mason influence.
