Memory Verse: Matthew 28: 20 - Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the world. Amen.
What do I never leave home without???
Well, I try not to leave home without:
1. All 5 kids!!
2. Diaper Bag/Purse full of diapers, LOTS of baby wipes, kleenex, chapstick (a must in AK!), cell phone (preferably charged), my wallet, keys, hand sanitizer, plastic bags, ponytail holders, hairbrush, and extra clothes. Also, sunblock, bug spray, and sunglasses in the summer.
3. Winter gear for everyone. I don't know how many times last winter we would get somewhere and I would realize that someone only had one mitten or had forgotten their hat. At 20 below, these are absolutely necessary!! It's hard getting into the vehicle when it is sitting in the heated garage and then getting out when it's bitterly cold. I am making sure to do a better job of checking before we leave this winter :)
4. Winter gear in the truck. Extension cord to plug it in while we're in the store/class etc. blankets, survival guide (ok so I dont' think we'll be lost in between here and Walmart, but you NEVER know, right?).
5. Drinks and snacks for everyone.
6. Something to work on - reading material, assignments to grade, schoolwork to work on with the kids etc.
7. My camera - you never know when there will be a Kodak moment :)
8. Tori's pacifier. I forgot it earlier this week and it was not a happy trip.
I think that's about it. No wonder it takes me so long to get out the door. Especially since the kids all seem to have their own ideas about what is necessary to take :) We are having a hard time fitting everything in our vehicle!!

Yep, it takes me forever to get out the door, too - I have four. That's probably why we don't leave the house without my hubby very often! *blush* When you have a few more kids then the "average", you tend to need more stuff! :) Great post! Love your blog! It's very bright and informative of your family, which is beautiful btw! :)

Fist off, are you new to class? Don't recognize ya, so welcome friend! Also, very, very cute blog. I remember the pacis things. Only one of my four couldn't live without it...we always had secret stashes for those needful moments. Great post and blessings to ya!
