Ellie is 10 and in the 5th/6th grade this year. She loves dancing, doing art projects, traveling, and of course reading. She reads all day long, leaving a trail of books behind her :)
Kate is 7 and does 2nd and 3rd grade work this year. She likes to move!! She loves anything hands-on and doesn't want to sit for too long :)
Lexie is 5 and is in the 1st grade. She is becoming quite a good reader and is enjoying math. Lexie LOVES to talk, just ask her :)
Nick is 3. He loves trains, trucks, planes, and anything that moves. Keeping him occupied during the school day is a constant challenge :) He knows his letters and can count. He likes to work on puzzles and to play with math manipulatives. I am hoping that I can keep him busy and out of trouble while we're working this year!
Tori Rose is 1 and a half and such a joy!! She loves to play with her baby dolls, listen to music, and talk.
I know that I have posted way too many pics of Tori lately, but I have even more from today. We put some fairy wings and a cute skirt on her and I tried my hardest to get some good pictures. She was moving CONSTANTLY. Ellie did her best to try to keep her in one spot, but it was impossible. Still, I got a few that I really liked. And now I'm really, really, really wanting to get a big girl camera. :) A D-SLR. My point and shoot is great, but I would love some more control.
We are using a very eclectic mixture of curriculum and living books in our homeschooling journey. It is always changing, depending on each child and what works best for them. We are using a mostly classical method with a Charlotte Mason influence.
