Ice Alaska, Day Two

I told you there would be a day two!!

Today we returned to Ice Alaska and spent another couple of hours going down slides, looking at beautiful ice art, drinking hot cocoa, solving the ice labyrinth, and going down even more slides. Here are some pictures from our visit.

Those are amazing ice cravings. In Feb we have a "small" ice cravings thru out town, nothing compared to these.

Love the train...

Those are amazing pictures! What a great experience for your family. My kids would absolutely love seeing "real" snow ... we don't get much of that in Mississippi.

It's amazing what can be made out of ice! Looks like everyone had a great time.

How fun! When I was in high school we lived in Canada for a winter and a half. As long as it is, I discovered that northerners really know how to make winter fun! That spring melt can be a long, long wait, though!

I've never seen such a great ice playground! Thanks for sharing.

Hello,

I used to live in Alaska, on base in Anchorage (uncle was in Air Force) and the ice displays were wonderful. I am thankful to share the homeschooling journey with a fellow homeschooler and Alaskan - my family still lives there is Wasilla. This is our first year homeschooling and we are just starting to "tell our tale". I love photography too so I look forward to conversing with you.
